“The past ten years have been about discovering new ways to create, invent, and work together on the Web. The next ten years will be about applying those lessons to the real world.” — Chris Anderson, Makers: The New Industrial Revolution

Who are we?
We’re two internet entrepreneurs who are ready to make things.
The Internet of Things is here. Imagine creating your own autonomous flying drones or streaming video from the edge of space or creating your own biometric sensors. Thanks to increasingly open hardware platforms and new fabrication technologies such as 3D printing, it has become possible for anyone to create intelligent devices that are connected to the internet — without requiring millions of dollars in specialized equipment or a PhD in electrical engineering.
Welcome to Hack Things! On this site, we track the emerging Internet of Things revolution and provide resources for you to get involved.
